📋 Matters
These four fields appear on every matter form regardless of matter type.
Rename their labels to suit your terminology, toggle mandatory on/off, and (for Status)
edit the list of allowed values + which one is the default for new matters. The "Form
fields (per type)" tab is for fields that change with the matter type — these never
appear there.
Define the type-specific fields, per matter type. Each template has
two lists:
Matter (overview) — set once on the matter itself;
Per-recording — captured for each recording (witnesses present, exhibits
tendered, verdict, etc.). The universal fields (name, reference number, description,
status) are managed under the Common fields tab and aren't shown here.
Mark fields mandatory so users can't save without filling them. Hide fields you don't
use. Add your own.
Workspace-wide defaults applied to every new matter form. Users can still pick a
different value at create time; this just sets what's pre-selected.
Pre-selected in the matter form's template picker when a user clicks "+ New matter".
